Raiding

I'm not going to spoonfeed videos and tactics writeups, I think we can all find them well enough. Wowhead has some particularly nice writeups on each boss. I'd like to post a topic on each boss where we can discuss what we learned from PuGing and from our own attempts. Feel free to write up your own observations and post links to stuff you found especially useful.

What new and different abilities do you have at 100? What should Blizzard have changed but didn't? What should we know about while we're raiding with you?

I'll start with:

Disc

Discipline Priests have even more bubbles and rely even more on shielding. Despite this, there's plenty of damage to go around and with the loss of smart healing, we're not bubbling off all your damage now. Atonement is primarily a way to build stacks to buff our healing.

Now that raid bosses are open on Draenor, you may be wondering how to get the tokens for Bonus Rolls in this expansion. Or maybe you already know! If so, that's great, correct me if I'm wrong on anything here. ;)

Leveling and exploring in Draenor has been a lot of fun! The Garrison is a nifty addition to normal play and the stories have been amazing! I hope everyone has enjoyed Warlords of Draenor so far because a new challenge is on the horizon for us. The first raid opens this week! We are probably not raiding this week, so the question is how ready are we? The previous raiding thread gave us a good idea of how many members and what roles we would probably have, but now we need to be specific.

WoD release date is set for November 13. Weren't we promised a Summer release date? Of course, I am going to be out of the country for two solid weeks starting on November 15th. It's a crime.

Well, I have a job again, UPS package handling/loader. (yay.....) And my hours are from 5:30ish to when ever I get done, between 9 and 11. Monday through Friday. So I probably won't get a chance to raid with you guys in WoD. But I'll keep my mage around. Since I can't raid with you guys, I'm going to try and run a casual raiding guild like this done on Thrall Horde on my monk and try and figure out what time and day to make the raids and see what I can do. What are your plans for the Summer?

Mine? I'm taking a break.

Siege of Orgrimmar is a good raid. It has been fun and interesting to run, but it was released on September 10, 2013. Nine months ago. That's kinda crazy to think about! (Reference: Mogu'shan/Heart of Fear/Terrace was about 4-5 months and Throne of Thunder was 6.) On top of that, the Summer means lower raid attendance due to vacations and so forth. I'm tired of trying to fill raids. All of this means that I'm just not looking forward to raids these days. So, it's break time for me!

So, college crap and my finical aid crap should all be resolved. So I should be able to do guild runs now. But, there's a few changes I'm making with my mage.

Topic says it all. need to find a tank for 3 raids
