Reviewing the signups for Thursday, and adding Vex and Diz, it looks like we will have 11 raiders for a fresh clear. Huzzah!

No surprise, but after weeks of sometimes exhausting attempts on Blackhand we had a low turnout for Monday night's raid. It looks like patch 6.2 will be upon us by our next reset raid on June 25. So, if you feel the need to take a night or two off, now is a good time for that. We want everyone refreshed for killing internet demons when the new content hits.

It's blisteringly hot and humid, computer fans are struggling just to do normal stuff, let alone run wow. Baby sick again, 3 year old being jerk, and I'm barely mobile. Calling it extremely likely I won't make it on. Sorry folks.

Here is main avoidable source of death in p3 - eruption.
Eruption is that circle around BH smashes + more circles from bombs. Every second in that circle is like...a lot of damage. And if you have +dmg debuf - unhealable.
This is avoidable by:
a. proper positioning for those who take smashes in circle.
b. those with debuff - proactively move away.

Also bomb drops and overall positioning is an issues. Here is one more image of what we need to do.

I found myself spamming direct heals (and RDruids are not really good at that) and decide to analyze the logs.

AFAIK main most used damage mitigation ability for paladins is SotR.
So I pick few >5 mins fights and compare you with top 5 palas with best survivability rating for BH heroic.

Here is a result (number of SotR casts per min):

I seem to be having a problem with my ac adapter or battery. I play on an alienware laptop and recently when i plug it up i get an error message that says it does not recognize the ac adapter and wont charge. If i try to play any game in this current situation i get like 3 fps ,no bueno, so i might miss a little till figure this one out.

Interesting things on the PTR

Obviously this could change before going live, but at the moment gear ilvl increases as you get deeper into the raid. The first few bosses on normal are 690, increasing to 695 and 700 as you get farther in. Ditto Heroic and mythic, but starting at 705 and 720 respectively.

Set gear stays at the median level throughout, 695.

The topic is pretty simple:

How many set pieces do you have? Do you have a 4-piece? 2-piece? 0 or 1 or 3? Or even all 5!

We're trying to figure out how many pieces we are missing and what bosses would be most beneficial to farm for them. So a quick post would help out, thanks!

I've been trying to find a good Ret guide, but most are still written for MoP. I should probably be using a sim anyhow, so now I have a good reason to do so. Any recommendations?
